Think of it as a mix of Yu-Gi-Oh! strategy and Stardew Valley resource management, but where everything you own is an NFT you can actually sell for SOL. The game is "Duel-to-Earn". You don't just jump into a fight; you have to build the foundation first. - You build a digital farm to produce resources. Your farm generates the energy or materials needed to progress. - You take your Monster Cards and "stake" them (lock them) into your farm. This acts like a multiplier—better monsters mean your farm produces $DUELS tokens faster. - You collect Monster, Spell, and Trap cards (1,247 total in the set) to build a deck for PvP. - You take the $DUELS you farmed or won and swap them for $SOL. They are currently minting 1,000 Genesis NFTs (25% are already gone). - Cost: 0.1 SOL - You get early access, XP boosts, and a slice of the 10,000,000 $DUELS token pool reserved specifically for holders. The project has 1 Billion $DUELS tokens. What's interesting is their 90-Day Farming Schedule. They use a "decay" model to keep the token valuable: - Stage 1: 1–10d > emissions: 90,000,000 (Highest rewards) - Stage 2: 11–20d > emissions: 70,000,000 - Stage 3: 21–30d > emissions: 40,000,000 (Rewards getting harder to get) Players who start on Day 1 get the biggest chunk of the rewards. By Day 30, the "difficulty" has essentially doubled because fewer tokens are being released. - Not all cards are equal. The game uses a standard rarity scale: Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic - Higher Rarity = Better combat stats + higher yield multipliers for your farm. - Scarcity: Some "Mythic" cards are one-of-a-kind. If you pull one from a booster pack, it could be worth a significant amount of SOL on the secondary market. If you’re into deck-builders and want to earn while playing, the move is usually to get a Genesis NFT to maximize that Stage 1 emission window.
