Subble, the company I co-founded, helps companies manage their software subscriptions to reduce wasted spend and increase security. If you work at a tech company where this might be valuable, let me know!

Could somebody help this aussie battler understand how to get the claude code extension in cursor (or vscode) to use the in-built browser of the IDE? I'm using a dev container so can't easily run a browser on the host

@pitermarx Good point: would we evolve a desire that can't be satisfied? Even momentarily?

@DuffieldJesse Men feel sexual desire; well, there is such a thing as sex. If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world.

Very long-standing issue with Lazygit has been resolved by the great Stefan Haller. This 'index.lock' error stumped me for years and now it's finally fixed. github.com/jesseduffield/…

To fix my issue with being late to calendar meetings, I got a twilio phone number, then created a zapier zap to call my phone 2 mins before a meeting starts, requiring me to acknowledge by declining the call. The number bypasses do-not-disturb and silent mode. I'm satisfied

@sushii_gu We had telemetry years ago but I stopped it after I freaked out from accidentally creating a botnet that I couldn't turn off haha

@DuffieldJesse do you have any sort of telemetry to make that call? given the use cases of lazygit i'd wager people keep their "personal" git versions pretty updated

Does anybody care if we bump the minimum required git version for lazygit from v0.22 (2020) to v0.32 (2022)? On that note does anybody care if we bump it WAY up to some version in the last 12 months? In my head, people would indeed care about that.
