@senstalk_ I personally think it’s a mental health issue that’s still dogging him. Unfortunate. For him and the team if that’s the case.

Gonna need an answer as to why Linus Ullmark didn’t start today. It never made sense then and it especially doesn’t make sense now. The #Sens needed their star goaltender in net but elected to start their backup in a key game. That decision costs them mightily.

@Liams_Hockey My personal opinion is that we dominated and simply lost the game with really poor 3-3 OT play. We looked lost in OT. Lots of subplots but we needed to bring our A game to OT and I’m not sure what that was.

Regardless of missed open nets, injuries, missed too-many-men etc, give credit where it's due. You could feel it..after 30yrs, it was their time. Congrats to USA. Amazing how we dominated but that's hockey. Poor Nate is having nightmares lol. Great game and again, congrats.

@StuntmanStu He’s been trolling all day. But it’s his schtick and what he says and what he knows are 2 different things. Love that he’s elevating the game in USA.

@stoolpresidente USA played way better 3-3 in OT. Canada looked lost in OT. Hellebuyck was amazing in nets. Otherwise that game was completely owned by Canada 🇨🇦 With those 2 teams Canada wins 65-70 out of 100.

@VinnyWize @DavidHillWard3 I was hoping when we moved to Barrhaven in 2002 that we'd have light rail going through our neighborhood, then Mayor Larry O'Brien canceled it. Now the designated LRT lanes are used by buses, when there is one. It's one of this city's biggest flops

@PxPOttawa Liked it too. Loved the Latino nod. It may not have resonated with all but it was a good show. Not the best, but good.

Liked Bad Bunny show. Would love to have seen how they get that entire village set and cane field on and off the field that fast. Also, I would love to know if that young couple actually got married or was it part of the choreography?

@SInow 7. Not the best show in the history of half time shows but he definitely did a good job and I loved how the Latino cultura really permeated throughout.

@LeiperOttawa Hi jeff. This may be a stupid question but can we cut our losses and just switch train models for line 1 or is the track proprietary to that specific train?

Enough acknowledgements. Enough "extremely frustrating." Time for RTM, its partners, OC Transpo and Council to stop pointing fingers and fix the underlying failure. 4/4

Four years since bearing failures derailed LRT trains. Four years, and we still don't know the root cause. Tonight, single-car trains during rush hour. Crowded platforms. No timeline for a fix. This hits everyone. 1/4 cbc.ca/news/canada/ot…

@LalimesMartian STH here. I’m not checked out. Not every year is going to pan out. I’m happy with the roster and felt it had great potential. Losing Ullmark and having other injuries is not within control of the org. That said, on ice has been disappointing and I get why some have checked out

Not to be the self quote tweet guy, but I posted this an hour ago and there’s already 110 different people in the comments giving their voluntary feedback. STH, in market fans, out of market fans. All similar sentiment.
Martian@LalimesMartian

Hearing some pretty serious chatter amongst Sens fans being checked out of the team, feeling apathetic toward how the games go. Even heard from season ticket holders who are on the fence about renewing with how things have been going. Does anybody else feel this way? What would it take for you to feel good about things again?

@danberger Really depends on type of conference. I know what you’re saying and agree for certain verticals and sectors. That being said we work with many scientific, medical and other association conferences. Strong educational and research components. High value for their audience.

9 out of 10 speakers at conferences are there to peddle their wares (myself included!!), even if they’re paid to speak. The only reason to go to a session these days -- since most of the info they’re sharing can be found online, and then some -- is to meet the speaker or their handler after it ends. The only sessions I’ll actually attend are ones where I can learn from peers (they less likely to have an agenda), or where the speaker truly works with participants (because learning happens when we engage). Anyone see it differently?

@MaOnTheAir @NCC_GatPark The oaks in the foreground with the changed leaves are likely due to the dry summer. Maples will change colour before oaks normally.

Sad to hear about Ken Dryden passing away. I actually got to see him play in 1978 vs Boston. I think i was 7 or 8 years old My dad took me to the game at the old Forum and all those legends on the ice is still a very vivid memory today.
