Atiku and Ameachi: Let go for Concesus, Peter Obi: No, Atiku and Ameachi: Let go for primary, Peter Obi: No Atiku and Ameachi: Why do you say no, Peter Obi: I don't have shishi for delegates, Atiku and Ameachi: There are no delegates in this. It's direct primary. Peter Obi: I never heard the name direct primary before. Is it a primary to give people a ticket on a platter of gold? Atiku and Ameachi: No, direct primary is a system of chosen a candidate through all registered members of a party. Peter Obi:😭😭 Atiku and Ameachi: Why are you crying again. Peter Obi: My people didn't register for ADC, I sent them to be on social media to keep blackmailing. Atiku and Ameachi: So what will you do now? Peter Obi: If you can't give me the ticket on a platter of gold like my birthday right, I will leave. Atiku and Ameachi: Where are you leaving to? Peter Obi: I want to renew my 2023 contract with Tinubu to cash out big time in NDC. Atiku and Ameachi: So what will you tell your directionless followers? Peter Obi: Don't worry, this is why they called me Lord of Lamba. I will put the blame on APC and the judiciary. Atiku and Ameachi: Oya na, wish you the best. Peter Obi: YES, DADDY. OBIdients, in whatever we are doing, let's NEVER forget the man who stood by our principal in 2023,Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed. In my mind, I kept him somewhere safe, for a very strong position 🤞. He will always have my love and respect.

Respectfully sir, you are just too emotional and sentimental for an aspiring president 🤧🤧
Peter Obi@PeterObi

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

My leader @PeterObi, unfortunately this is where we part ways. My support for you was largely based on the efforts that I have seen from you in fighting for democratic, free, and fair elections. However, your pattern of resigning from political parties solely because of external pressure (PDP, LP, and now ADC) is uncharacteristic of a leader with the ability to fight for what is right. You cower in the face of pressure and you run for soft landing else where. This is not the type of leadership Nigeria needs given its dire situation, and certainly not the type of politics that we need going into 2027. My hate for Tinubu is bigger than my love for a better Nigeria at the moment. So I will align with whom I believe can end Tinubu. Best wishes.

BREAKING; Peter Obi Resigned from ADC Peter announced his departure from ADC. FACTS ARE STUBBORN and here is one! First of all, I do not care about Atiku Abubakar’s ambition, I also do not care about Peter Obi’s ambition, it is important we settle this first. With Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi on the ballot flying different tickets, Atiku has a far better chance of polling more votes than him. The ADC has done absolutely nothing to Peter Obi for him to dump the party and jump ship again, so if he leaves there will be no emotional blackmail, no sympathy wave, and no convincing moral argument to market his departure, especially to Northern voters who are already skeptical of fragmented opposition politics. Of course Peter Obi will retain his South East and a good part of the South South, that is not in doubt. But elections in Nigeria are not won with regional loyalty alone, they are won with trust spread across blocs, and right now that wider trust sits more naturally with a coalition-backed ticket than with another solo Obi adventure. For Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, this will be tge time that the lingering “sellout” tag that has been searching for a comfortable place to rest on his head will become fully established if he chooses to stand outside a collective arrangement again. Many anti-Tinubu voters who may not even like Atiku personally will still see ADC as the main protest vehicle simply because it represents sacrifice, compromise and a common front. But that does not automatically mean ADC wins, but ADC will certainly poll better than the “OK”ticket floated on another platform because Nigerians are exhausted by ego contests dressed as rescue missions. The best, and frankly the only realistic path for Peter Obi to get to Aso Villa is through coalition structures. Either as Vice President on a balanced national ticket and later President, or as Presidential candidate of a united opposition, I genuinely believe he can win with the backing of the ADC. Anything outside that is ambition, not strategy.
