My new paper with @bmartinhard and Jing Liu finds that belonging in Intro Psych and "gusto" for the content predict grades; only gusto predicts future psych interest. Student, course, and peer factors contributed to both belonging & gusto. Read more here: psycnet.apa.org/record/2021-92…
