A point of pride among the competitors at the @DukeEnergy_FL Lineman’s Rodeo ⬇️ these T-shirts ⬇️. They represent the specific operation centers throughout Florida. Having the “best” shirt is equally as important as the best climb!

This apprentice mystery event involves installing bird diverters on a powerline - helping birds avoid coming in contact with lines and ultimately reducing power outages for customers. Important to know these lines are not energized. They’re used to safely train line techs.

This is the Hurtman Rescue. Safety is the top priority for our lineworkers, and while this challenge involves dummies and de-energized lines, they’re practicing real-world skills that can make all the difference in the field.
