@TheRollingW @Gunktion @ActionNetworkHQ @ShamsCharania Nonsense. It was agreed upon before the trade that they would get the first pick. Totally rigged. Anyone denying that is just delusional.
English

@Gunktion @ActionNetworkHQ @ShamsCharania Flagg is absolutely unrelated to the trade. Zero relationship. People associate it because of timing, but the Mavs may have kept Luka and still gotten Flagg so don't put the two together.
English

@HiddenNBA @ShamsCharania They traded Luka for Cooper Flagg. Let's all just be honest about that.

@lilcyl @ShamsCharania What AD brings? Anybody can sit the bench injured for much cheaper.

@Mr_Twenty25 @DaeKnowSumn @ClutchPoints @mindthegamepod Typical young punk attitude. Knows nothing, but thinks he knows it all.

@DaeKnowSumn @ClutchPoints @mindthegamepod The NBA wanted to grow the game internationally!
Uh duh!
So Arvydas Sabonis, Detlef Schrempf, Vlade Divac, Toni Kucok, Drazen Petrovic?
Would never have been able to play in the NBA in the 90s!
Blah blah blah!
Its all talk "back n my day" B.S.

"I want fans to understand that playing 82 games in the 80s & 90s is not the same as playing 82 games in the 2020s. ... The way we play, the level of pace, the speed that we're playing at, it's a different game now."

Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm were asked about their PGA Tour eligibility during a captain's press conference at LIV media day.
DeChambeau: “I’m contracted through 2026, so excited about this year.”
Rahm: “Yeah, I’m not planning on going anywhere, so very similar answer to what Bryson gave. I wish Brooks the best, and as far as I’m concerned, I’m focused on LIV for this year and hoping my team can repeat as champs.”

@Dfs4Everyone @LegionHoops @RoadTrippinShow @NBA__Courtside Right! This guy was a complete joke in the league and he acts like anybody is supposed to listen to his opinions.

@ClutchPoints Man shut the hell up, MPJ just can’t perform on a championship level team. He just doesn’t have the willpower to be a positive player in key moments
English

This was never supposed to be a surprise.
Michael Porter Jr was always a bucket 🪣
He was the top ranked player of his high school class and was expected to be the face of the league before his back injuries.
Once he was healthy, MPJ wasn't given much of a spotlight to show what he could really do with how loaded the Nuggets were.
No ISOs and pin downs.
Just a lot of standing by the corner and occasional back cuts to the rim.
When things went well, Porter was an afterthought.
But whenever things go south, he was the scapegoat.
The Nuggets were so convinced Porter was damaged goods that they even added a future first round pick to get rid of him 👀
As option number one, Porter is averaging career highs while being just as efficient and playing the same amount of minutes last season.
Here's his numbers last season compared to his numbers through his first 27 games with the Nets:
🔸18.2 PTS ➡️25.9 PTS
🔸7.0 REB ➡️ 7.6 REB
🔸2.1 AST ➡️ 3.4 AST
🔸50.4 FG% ➡️49.5%
🔸39.5 3PT%➡️ 40.8 3PT%
🔸33.7 MINS ➡️ 33.0 MINS
His PPG average is top 15 in the league.
His offensive box +/- (a stat that measures how good a player is for his team when he's on and off the court) is 8th best in the NBA.
As someone dubbed by Basketball Reference as "Never Swing The Rock," MPJ is averaging even more assists as the focal point on offense.
Turns out the player everyone waited on never disappeared after all.

@ClutchPoints Check facts: Marvin Bagley III was the #1 recruit after he reclassified.
English

@VNetFad @ClutchPoints But did he make it better? I love Steph, but today's NBA is hard to watch. I'm not only blaming Steph though. Foul baiting is the absolute worst.

The NBA’s 3-point revolution just reached a new gear 😤
Hornets rookie Kon Knueppel has officially shattered the record for the fastest rookie to 100 career triples, hitting the mark in a staggering 29 games, beating the previous record by a massive 12-game margin.
But even as the new generation gets faster, they are all still chasing the Chef’s shadow.
While Knueppel leads the career sprint, Steph Curry still owns the greatest shooting peaks in history.
Curry remains the fastest player ever to reach 100 threes in a single season, doing it in just 19 games (2021-22) and 20 games (multiple times).
The league is shooting more than ever, but Chef Curry still sets the standard.
Records are being chased, but the blueprint belongs to Steph 🔥

@MySportsUpdate I didn't realize the Broncos were still in the NFL with that Division II schedule they played this year. He and his team are a joke.

#Broncos HC Sean Payton on New Year's Eve: “I didn’t know it was New Year’s Eve. The most overrated holiday, honestly. Like, seriously, I didn’t know it was New Year’s Eve.”
Says players on good teams don't need any message ahead of tonight: "Today's generation doesn't drink as much."

@mhyland18 @Hayesfawcett3 @Rivals @JarrardTeddy My thoughts exactly. Doesn't make any sense. Obviously, he's not planning on playing for Notre Dame.

@Hayesfawcett3 @Rivals @JarrardTeddy Such a mistake. Wastes a year of eligibility sitting behind Carr. Two if Carr returns for his senior year.

@SpencerJCox What a joke. You will lose to Georgia Tech by double digits.
English

This is absolutely the right move. Getting embarrassed in a bowl game against BYU would be really hard on the program. Much smarter to avoid playing tough teams so you can keep your brand intact.

@SportsCenter What a stupid sport to have two teams that will lose by 30+ points in the playoffs over teams that are 10x better because they won a conference with no competition but leave out a conference winner over a team that didnt even go to their championship game. 0 consistency.
