Our final mentor is Dr. Cade- the Division Chief for the Duke DPT program & NIH funded researcher focused on rehabilitation strategies to enhance cardiometabolic health. His practice areas include cardiovascular PT, neuromuscular disease, home health, & veterans' care #dudpthod

Our next mentor is Dr. Colin Sauter! He completed the Duke Neuro PT Residency in 2021 and currently works in the Neuro ICU and step down units at Duke. Dr. Sauter has also represented North Carolina in the APTA House of Delegates! #dudpthod

Introducing our first mentor: Dr. Clendaniel! A core faculty member in the Duke DPT program and an expert in vestibular disorder rehabilitation, he has published extensively, and maintains an active clinical practice in treating individuals with dizziness and imbalance. #dudpthod

With PD incidence projected to increase, there has been documented evidence showing physical activity in conjunct with medication has beneficial effects. Where is the evidence for other neurological diseases that are projected to increase within the population?

Recovery from a pontine stroke has limited research, most of this research only relevant to acute/subacute stages of the prognosis. How do we best treat the chronic pontine stroke population with limited research?!? These gaps are what need to be addressed. #DUDPTHOD
