Love to see it.. gamebred and Funky
Funky 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸@Benaskren
Well I suppose I learned last summer that life is short, definitely too short for holding grudges. So when @GamebredFighter said he wanted to sit down and break bread of course I took him up on it. Today he came to Wisconsin, sat down had some dinner and chatted it up. Turns out we have more in common than different 👊👊👊 Felt great to bury the hatchet and make a new friend. Life is too short to hold grudges, bury hatchets and move one with your life. So glad Jorge was able to come to Wisconsin today.

Terribly sad about Tom Noonan passing. In casting Manhunter I auditioned about 10-15 actors in New York when Tom walked in the door and said, “I don’t want to talk. I just want to read.” He read and it was magical. We worked closely. I based Dollarhyde less on the novel’s character and more on a convicted killer whom I met and with whom I corresponded who was doing life in Vacaville. I took Tom into that world and he made it his own. It was an automatic to cast Tom in a wheelchair as Kelso in Heat. He did so much more fine work, but it was as the battered child become a killer adult - both alive in the same bottle - that projected the range and deep soul of this so acute and committed artist. Rest in peace, Tom.

Philip Seymour Hoffman (July 23rd, 1967 - February 2nd, 2014)
the most talented actor of the last 30+ years. truly incredible to watch. felt like a different human being in every single role. brought humanity to monsters without ever making excuses for their behavior. watch any of his films back to back and wallahi you'll have to keep telling yourself it's the same actor. quite possibly being the most versatile actor l've ever seen in film. his influence within the medium of acting in the 21st century has no parallel amongst his generation of extremely talented peers. one of very few “celebrity” deaths that hit me especially hard, and one I think about the most as I get older. no one can do what he did. what a tragedy and an incredible loss for filmmaking.

Al Pacino didn’t win an #Oscar for The Godfather Part II. He lost it to Art Carney for Harry & Tonto. I’ll be 100% honest with you: I haven’t seen Harry & Tonto. I have seen the Godfather 2 about 100 times? And I can’t imagine there's been a performance better than this ever.
