Great update, appreciate the decisions made here. Definitely shows that RTFKT is listening to the community. The only drawback I see here is the mint vial holders having to reveal to receive the Animus. Going to be some tough decisions ahead for the vial holders. Does this mean that the eggs are linked to the Clone that claimed the Egg after-all? Can’t wait to see the website for more details.

Respectfully, here is a Project Animus Update:
The total supply of Project Animus Eggs will be capped at 20,000… meaning, there will be NO public sale of Project Animus Eggs.
As of today, there are ~16,794 eggs that have been claimed. The egg claim period for any Clone X collectibles that have not yet claimed an egg will remain open until March 1, 2024. For any unclaimed eggs after March 1st, RTFKT will look at options for distribution of the unclaimed eggs to the rest of the Clone X community of holders to reach the 20,000 Project Animus egg supply cap. Additional details to follow in the coming weeks on how this will work. Please use the redemption checker on rtfkt.com to validate if a Clone X collectible has already claimed a Project Animus egg.
If you are a Clone X mint vial holder, you will also have until March 1, 2024 to reveal your Clone X and claim your egg. We are unable to create an additional claim period for Clone X mint vial holders due to the constraints associated with the mint vial smart contract.
We will be dropping physical items in limited quantities for purchase during the Project Animus Incubation launch. The physical items will first be made available to Clone X and Project Animus Egg digital collectible holders in a token-gated ETH sale. Any remaining supply, after the token-gated sale, will be made available to the general public for purchase with non-crypto local currencies similar to the Dunk Genesis public sale conducted through Shopify.
The Project Animus experience website will launch in February. It will include details about the # of characters, the art and associated licensed 2D/3D materials, and how egg incubation and character reveal will work. Clones and pods digital collectibles will definitely play a role in the Animus Egg Incubation and hatching experience ahead 👀
