Some of the stuff I made in 2025 Got an alright amount done, and definitely a strong return to my black templars, especially my Dreadnought Grimaldus

now that's a nice red

everything looks better with the shading that washes bring, plus other bits are turning out well, like the chainsword hazard stripes, and using the red speedpaint to colour the optics and already shaded back cloak (though I will probably do a second coat for a deeper red)

It's about time I made one of these castellans since it's straight from the classic black templar Blanche piece that I'm always looking to. I don't wanna change a lot, just swapping out the relatively normal axe for a flamer chainsword, plus some additional details I like

@Pro_pain_ yeah, I can't say I'm super happy with what we got, a long wait for a dedicated killteam and it was generic servitors that other imperials already had some of Specialised skitarii/sicarians, or a tech priest's personal guard would've been ideal, I tried kitbashing that at least

I'm excited to see whats shown, presumably a new wave of killteams, which means some cool designs and bits that aren't restricted to the styles of larger armies but this logo in particular has me wondering, it's a cog and skull, but not admech or anything I recognise

@kvizitor_ Could be neat, it does line up with the navigator from blackstone fortress, third eye plus acquilla and all, it has a cool style so I'd be happy to see more like it And of course I'd be very happy for an admech exporator too

@DumbRobotStuff Maybe is bad idea but small ring on skull have vibes of "Navigator third eye"? Maybe some another stuff like Rogue trader mans and Navy Breachers but navigators security? Or some mechanicus like specific arms? like explorators etc?

@Nantarg Would be cool too, my personal dream killteam is a new version of titan-guard/secutarii, whatever allows them to get new, unique minis instead of resin parts for skitarii bodies I was hoping there'd be some to go with the secutarii axiarch when that came out for horus heresy

@SpartanB3126 potentially, explains the acquilla, but then why the cog and the A? Maybe A for Armageddon and the cog to show they're mechanised, so steel legion are getting a release to go with Yarrick?

having 0 interest in digital circus is really funny because one moment i check twitter and it's all quiet. Then suddenly it's 3000 posts about the mouth guy. I haven't watched a single episode. I know the shows entire plot anyway. Anyway- birds deploying, but who cares.

a bit more progress, after detailing both the arms, I'm onto the big back, I can go straight to detailing the top, like the thanatar ammo magazine in the middle, but I still need to build out some parts with plasticard since the stormtalon weapons/vents were incomplete
