✨ Employability Skills Event ✨ Our event this week was fantastic with pupils getting stuck in & asking thoughtful questions. It was great to see the S4's & pupils from Enhanced Support discussing CV/interview skills and career pathways with enthusiasm. @DunfermlineHS

@CareerReadyUK 🤝 @GercoFas ️ Musfirah's summer the internship at Gerco has been tailored to her interest in Law. This has involved reviewing contracts, attending meetings and gaining knowledge of what area of Law she would like to pursue. Great work 👏 @DunfermlineHS

@CareerReadyUK 👁 Optos Mateusz and Fraser spoke positively about their summer internships and had a brilliant presentation about the project of creating an improved hand controller. Well Done🙌 @DunfermlineHS

@CareerReadyUK 🌿 @TheEcology_1 Jakub spoke about his sunny internship from grass cutting, planting seeds to harvesting fruit & veg. Already with a Horticulture qualification, gaining work experience has boosted Jakub's confidence further. Great work👏 @DunfermlineHS

@CareerReadyUK 🤝 @TechnipFMC Fatimah presented with such confidence and passion about her summer internship at Technip FMC, sharing her redesign of the prayer room and engaging in a collaborative welding project. Great work🌟 @DunfermlineHS

@CareerReadyUK 🏠 @TaylorWimpey Ashmin excelled during his summer internship and was confident and curious to try new things. Projects he worked on included sales, customer relations, design, technical and being on site. Fantastic work👏 @DunfermlineHS

Thank you to @DYWFife for organising the Construction & Manufacturing Showcase. Pupils were genuinely inspired from hearing about different opportunities, roles, college routes or apprenticeships in a sector that is in demand 🙌 @DunfermlineHS

This week pupils were specially selected from West Fife schools to attend a work placement at Babcock. With a focus on engineering, pupils designed a humanitarian vessel with mentor support and then presented their designs. @DunfermlineHS @DYWFife

A huge thank you to Mark & the team at Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum for creating a brilliant placement for two S4 pupils during study leave. I was invited along for an enthusiastic whistle-stop tour to see the different jobs undertaken. Well done! 👏@DunfermlineHS @DYWFife
