By far the hardest of my 6 ultra marathons... ridiculously tough. Heat, humidity, jungle terrain. It was brutal...but I did it, and running in with the local kids was amazing. @royalmarsden

@Raworthontherun It's a Park Run...the answers in the name...if it was park race then perhaps it would matter ... The only time I look at is my own, and whether I was faster or slower than last week.TBH I'd do park run even if there wasn't timing.

Any parkrun record holders out there who have just had their records wiped and want to talk about it on the news? Why it matters to you - if it does - that your record is no longer there etc?

A day of emotions today as I hang up my stethoscope and contouring mouse @TheChristieNHS for the last time. An enormous privilege to care for patients here and I've worked with some amazing and inspiring colleagues. Season's greetings one and all!
