We do sometimes talk about RPGs, but we mostly review #horror films. New reviews Monday and Friday.

@AshTudor888 If mysteries count, Riley Sager's The Last Time I Lied. Might even be a horror.

@jbrett1217 @908dynasty @CornellNFL I don't follow. I think he's an NFL average QB. Rams 1-3 with him, 4-9 w/out. CAR 1-5 with, 6-5 w/out, CLE 29-30 w/, 3-2-1 w/out. Career: 31-38 (45%) with, 13-16-1 w/out (45%). Not a winner.

Baker Mayfield is an absolute gamer. There’s a reason why he won this locker room over immediately after Tom Brady left. He’s a winner.

Testing another idea. How much interest is there for #pedagogy training, specifically for those new to teaching in the #Humanities? I'm thinking #philosophy most of all. It seems many of us make through the PhD with next to no pedagogy courses.

Wondering if there's an audience for a #philosophy of #horror online course with options from MOOC (accepting donations) to pay-for-feedback on assignments/chats. I'm a philosophy PhD who would love to dry run this course before offering it to my students.

I'm back with a review tomorrow. 2023's Don't Turn Out the Lights. #horror I didn't get it, and I can't recommend the film.

I feel like DnD characters should be able to know like a few phrases in a bunch languages as opposed to being completely fluent in a few. Like imagine only one person in the party *kind of* knows celestial, and they roll low on a language check and accidentally insult the solar.

@Thrythlind @RRollplaying Okay; that makes a lot of sense. I played a lot of RM, too. In fact, it's probably my favorite system, and MERP is my favorite setting-specific system.

@rogueclassicist Have you read Pompeii by Robert Harris? I thoroughly enjoyed it, was hoping it would get a film adaptation.
