Men these days are far too precious, they demand all your time and I can’t be bothered with dating guys with ridiculous emotional baggage. I love my single life too much to compromise.

@Dunibear @bromley_parsons @Murk441 Well you started off by saying you are single because you chose a dog over a relationship ? Having to get back home for the dog is I guess the main restriction. You can't stay out overnight etc. I think if I was 67 I might get one but at 57 I'm going to keep free for a woman lol

@Dunibear @bromley_parsons @Murk441 A dog would hinder me having a relationship but I've been single 9 yrs now so I question whether I'm allowing loneliness without a dog when in fact I'm screwed when it comes to finding someone when all evidence points towards it being impossible to find someone

@paynester1978 @Murk441 My last ex asked if I’d ever get anymore dogs once the ones I had died because he didn’t want anymore as he felt they were too restrictive. I ditched him and I’ve been away a lot more than him since 🤣

@Dunibear @darren_buckler @Murk441 Very true. When my dog died I did 12 months of doing things I couldn’t do with a dog. Then I just missed having a dog in my life. I’ve now filled the void.

@Dunibear @Murk441 I had a border collie for 16.5 yrs of my 17 yes marriage. The restrictions made me swear to never be restricted by an animal ever again. I've considered it recently due to loneliness & whether I should just accept it but I think I will hold out lol
