@Dunkademics @Ballislife @McDAAG The part is you did. He’s a kid having fun at an all star game. There’s no technicality points. Push off or not he damn near took off from the free throw line off two feet and jump over two 7 footers, 6’8, 6’4 and kick Ronald McDonald in the head 🤣 still impressive.

@jrich23 @Ballislife @McDAAG I didn’t mean anything negative by it at all! Pro dunkers do the push offs all the time. I’m saying most people are more impressed with his dunk over people, but I’m more impressed by his under both legs because it’s harder than his other dunks! All of them were sick!

What about a weighted scale for NBA Award voting? Media Vote for whoever you want, regardless of games played, and then every player’s votes get multiplied by the percentage of games they played
Play 80% of the season = votes x .80
Play 65% = votes x .65 etc…
Thoughts? 🤔

@JonesOnTheNBA I think if Bam scored 79 instead of 83, it wouldn't be as much of an issue.
2 things can be true at once: Bam's performance was epic...but it sucks that he outscored KB in a "less impressive" way than one would hope

My belief: anything over 60 is huge no matter who you play or in what context. But I’ll ask you this: how many of the 70+ point performances came against shit teams and/or had the player score points after the game was clearly in hand? This purity test thing ain’t it.

Lakers lost the 2008 Finals, but I enjoyed this season more than 2009 and 2010. From a summer of Kobe begging for a trade and getting booed on opening night to him winning MVP and the Lakers winning the west. I don’t even think the most delusional fan could have predicted it.
