@dafscrawf @The_Forty_Four From Trusty’s face. You need your arms to jump of course. But he isn’t controlled. His arm starts up above head height which is already running the risk. His elbows catches Trusty in the face. Foul or not, u can’t moan about your arm moving cause u had it in someones face.

@MarkGordonMedia That’s your prerogative, but in no way does the further evidence conclusively show anything different to what was shown at the time. If anything, Celtic’s footage shows less of a handball.

Initially I thought Nicholson headed the ball, after multiple views/images from different angles, I now see it hit his hand. None of our esteemed pundits, one of which can barely string a cogent sentence together, have said this. It’s ok to admit you were wrong sometimes lads!

If the ball just comes off the hand, u should be able to see his full sleeve/wrist here. But you can’t… because the ball is clearly making contact.

@RodW78 @J25504353 @jonnyrmcfarlane I do agree some of the images are mental. Video footage for me is still clear, though. I don’t see what part of the head it makes contact with here. It comes clearly off his lower hand/wrist.

The ref and var didn’t have them and went with footage,you can’t definitely say it hits the hand, maybe it did absolutely. A bit like Man U v Liverpool probably hit his finger but couldn’t be 💯. If pen had been given on field no probs

@Centralscotap @TonyMcKelvie I mean it’s certainly not inconclusive when you can’t see the ball come off his head but you can see it come off his hand/wrist area. They reviewed it because the referee didn’t see it in real time. So it therefore doesn’t have to be ‘clear and obvious’ to be reviewed.

@Dunn_67 @TonyMcKelvie He no going to put his hand up to stop himself from headering the ball. Inconclusive, no advantage, jo penalty was given by ref. So why review it? Fear of repercussions of not reviewing it and fear of overturning a var review. This will appen in favour of rangers too in future

It's absurd that a handball like that results in a penalty. There is no correlation between the significance of the foul and the consequences of the award. It’s a crap rule. But the ball hit his hand and his hand was raised above his shoulder and the rule directs a penalty kick.

@RodW78 @J25504353 @jonnyrmcfarlane If u actually look at the ball, it’s covering part of his wrist/forearm. You can’t see his full forearm/wrist in this image. Why not? Because the ball is covering it as it makes contact. If the ball only came off the head, you would be able to see his full wrist/forearm here.
