What a beautiful start to the day, unfortunately the weather took a turn for the worst and the heavens opened up. Managed to capture the best part of the day.

You know it's time to open when the greenery arrives for the flower displays. All the staff got a treat fresh scones (checking new oven out) made for our tea break. Gift shop all done some lovely new products. Almost everything ready for opening on Monday.

Finished cleaning the Fire Engine Room today with the team. The fire engine is a task and a half glad that's done.

You don't actually realise the amount of work that goes into cleaning the castle the team have done a fab job getting the place ready. Now is the final push before opening.

Only just over two weeks now until the covers come off.
