Our snowman is ready to welcome everyone back in the morning. ⛄️❄️ Pathways have been gritted and we’re looking forward to safely welcoming our children and families back to school.

Reception have been inspired by their key text - Luna Loves Art. They visited an ‘art gallery’ to look at the work of famous artists, before producing their own masterpieces. To showcase their work, they created their own gallery that all their grown ups visited! #cuspmoment

Today was a first for us, as our Reception class proudly showcased an amazing art display inspired by this week’s book, “Luna Loves Art.” 🎨 Families joined us to explore the gallery, and the children were so proud to show off their creations! #ArtInEducation #LunaLovesArt

At 11am on the 11th day of the 11th month, our school came together in remembrance. Children created poppies and observed two minutes of silence to honour all who served. 🌺 #RemembranceDay #LestWeForget

Today we welcomed Mrs Dollin who taught the children how to stay safe in the darker months. We learned about fluorescent and reflective clothing and why it is important to be seen by vehicles. The children were congratulated on their excellent behaviour and listening skills.

We are blown away by how much food our children and their families donated to the Tamworth Foodbank. After reading “It’s a no-money day’, our Nursery, Reception and Year 1 children wanted to make sure that no one faced bare cupboards this harvest. @the_atlp @TrussellUK

As a new school year begins, we are so excited to be opening our doors tomorrow and welcoming both familiar faces and new ones. We can’t wait to see everyone and start a new year full of learning, laughter, and adventure. See you in the morning! 🌈📚

Today Butterflies went to Twycross Zoo. They had a fantastic time seeing all the animals and exploring the Gruffalo Trail

What a day! ☀️ We had our very first sports day this week… both Nursery 🐛 and Reception 🦋 were amazing! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ From hoop races to egg & spoon and even space hoppers, the children gave it their all. We ended with big smiles and a well-earned treat from the ice cream van. 🍦

Celebrating the special men in our lives. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads and wonderful male role models this weekend.

We’d like to wish all our families a restful and happy break. This week, we said a fond farewell to our three fluffy chicks, who we watched hatch from eggs … what a special experience it’s been. We will miss Pickle, Fluffy, and Eggbert. 🐣🐥🐤 @the_atlp

Our children love visiting our library! ✨🦋 Whether they’re snuggling into a reading booth or sharing a story with friends, their enthusiasm for books is wonderful to see. A perfect space to spark imagination and a lifelong love of reading. 📚 #EarlyYears

Today we marked the 80th anniversary of VE Day. Dressed in red, white & blue, children enjoyed making bunting and flags. 🇬🇧 We listened to wartime music and explored old photos, and ended the day with cupcakes! A wonderful mix of remembrance & celebration. @the_atlp

As part of the “Eat Them to Defeat Them’ campaign, our children are loving the challenge of trying lots of new vegetables this week! They are really displaying the Dunstall Park Value to ‘Be Courageous’. Bring on the broccoli! 🥦 💪
