House Democrats just voted down the Fraud Isn’t Free Act, which would require real action when fraud is suspected and hold employees accountable for negligence or misconduct. Whether Democrats support stronger anti-fraud measures or not, fraud isn’t free, and it’s costing Minnesotans billions.

Gandi Mohamed aka Gandi Kediye pleaded guilty at the 11th hour to avoid his trial. Perhaps most significantly, his plea deal includes immunity from prosecution in any current investigation the feds are conducting against him. (He had received significant Medicaid reimbursements across several programs. I’ll have much more info on that soon.)
