Remember: If you want to join or re-join band, we want you! Go visit Mr. R in either band room and let him know so we can work on the best way to get you into the fold. We're going to have a lot of fun together, and you're integral to our future success!

Happy Show Reveal!

Festival is over and here are our results: Middle School Concert: III overall High School Concert: II overall High School Symphonic: I overall (straight Is!) We missed so many rehearsal days due to snow but everyone worked hard and we'll keep our progress moving forward!

Uh, we keep getting poorly timed snow days. We'll get back to you on when this recital is going to happen.

We postponed the solo recital until Thursday, February 7th. See you at the depot!

In the meantime, though, come see the soloists and ensembles from both us and the Choir at @DurandStation on Thursday the 31st at 7pm! It's free! ... We wouldn't say no to a donation, though!

Our friends at @DurandChoirs went to festival today and pulled Straight Is! Congrats to them, and we'll try to join you with our groups in March.

@lodragonbands We want to thank you for your amazing support of us and our show on Saturday afternoon. It made us feel like superheroes and is what this activity is all about. Congrats on an awesome season yourselves!

Whoops, the Veterans Day Parade is actually on Monday, November 12th this year.

The Marching Band’s last performance of the year is in Owosso on November 11 for the annual county Veterans Day Parade. From there, we’ll turn our focus toward concert season and Solo & Ensemble festival.

Finally today, we want to reiterate just how proud we all are here at the Durand Band to perform for our friends, family, fans, and our more than 90 years of alumni. It is an honor to represent the Railroaders, and we hope we’ve lived up to your expectations. Thank you.

Reminder that current high school and middle school students and past band alumni are invited to contribute one ornament to the band’s tree at @DurandStation on Wednesday the 7th. We’ll be there from 6 until 9 pm!

Durand finishes 5th with a score of 86.650. We’re so proud of our performance and we hope you are too. Stay tuned for future event news!
