Inter-Counties Foursomes Semi-Final Results: George Washington GC beat Bishop Auckland 2&1. Houghton-le-Spring beat Heworth 5&4. The Final will be played at Tynemouth GC on Saturday 1st October 2022.

Competition Rearrangement Notice: The DCGCS David Atkinson Trophy Meeting. This competition, originally scheduled for Monday 19th September, has been postponed and has been rescheduled for Monday 3rd October at Dinsdale Golf Club.

DCGU President, David Proud, recently had the pleasure of presenting Birtley Golf Club with an England Golf Commemorative Centenary Plate to mark 2022 as being the club's Centenary year. Receiving the plate are Club Captain for 2022, Adrian Flynn and Alex Patton, Captain 2021.
