Never forget - During Serbia’s war in Kosova, an estimated to 20,000 women and girls were raped. 👇 Vjollca Salihu, a 20-year young from Gjakova, was abducted by Srb police in 1998 during the Kosova War. After weeks of searching, her mother found her in a hospital in Belgrade paralyzed, with severe injuries from rape and torture, including a damaged spinal cord and cigarette burns covering her body, mutilated genitalia, and fingernails torn out. NATO intervened in March 1999 with an air campaign that ultimately forced Serbian forces to withdraw from Kosova by June of that year. While it came too late for many like Vjollca, that intervention stopped further mass atrocities and marked the beginning of Kosova’s path to freedom.

Ground operation in Iran would be hell. Cheap FPV drones eliminate a lot of advantages that a developed military and well trained infantry such as American has. And it will be televised.
I have been working with multiple units in Ukraine trying to minimize the impact of cheap fpv and bomber drones on the battlefield. We tried many things, from radars, shotguns, net guns, lasers, EW. Pretty much nothing works, there is no tech that can deterministically eliminate the threat. You can only minimize it, and we aren't talking about 80 percent mitigation, we are talking about 30 percent if you are lucky. Only physical barriers at the positions work effectively.

I’m not sure why Putin allows this to continue. He has a golden opportunity to level everything in that God-forsaken land while everyone is distracted in Iran, yet he still permits zelensky to create chaos. What kind of strategy is this? How many more ports, factories, and other critical infrastructure sites will be damaged because of Putin’s inability to handle the situation properly?
