The team at IPE (Institute for Ecological Research) came up with a long-term plan which includes planting forest corridors to expand natural ranges and the translocation of BLT groups to boost genetics in local populations.

To celebrate our founder, Gerald Durrell’s, 100th year and his legacy, we are starting a new collection of posts to celebrate our "Academy Heroes" Meet Gaby Rezende - DESMAN alumn who works with Black Lion Tamarins (BLT) in the Atlantic Forest.

📚 This course offers participants an introduction to the steps and key processes in the Conservation Standards cycle. The interactive course balances learning the theory with putting it into practice, working in small groups and with a real-world example.
