You're seeing people struggling to get their heads around how & why AI-generated media counts as art because they misunderstand what "art" even is. "Art" is the marriage of craftmanship and imagination. It's not the presence or absence of AI that results in what people call "slop," it's a lack of creative talent. If you have creative talent, AI is just another tool to leverage.
