Calgary is getting an outrageous 8.1% property tax increase. The City of Calgary portion increased by 1.2%. The Provincial portion of the tax increased by 19.8% for residential & 8.8% for non-residential. Absolutely disgusting. The UCP needs to cut that asap. #yyccc

At a rural farm in Indian River earlier today, I asked Poilievre for his reaction to Bill C-15, which assists the Liberals in expropriating land for the $90 billion ALTO high-speed rail project "Your private property is not safe under this Liberal government," he replied, pointing to the Cowichan Tribes ruling in BC Full report to come!

@SisePete @Will_Tanner_1 I pay for my lights. No street lights. I pay for my sewer and maintenence. Gas tax pays for roads and signage. Mowing of public areas? This is rural. And pretty sure that actually comes from provincial/municipal taxes. And why Should I pay for some towns mowing?

Property tax is a crushing wealth tax on middle class homeowners used to pay for a vast administrative apparatus that tries and fails to teach future homicide suspects how to do calculus, at dangerous schools to which these taxpayers don’t send their kids if they can avoid it The “services” could be paid for by a yearly assessment, in the case of things like police and firefighters, a specific tax on gas/vehicle registration/toll on entering the state in the case of the roads, and public schooling as currently constituted needs to be seriously reconsidered. Teaching the bright members of every class and helping them flourish is not that expensive, and has quite a good return. Pouring unending resources into the gaping maw of a bureaucratic class that warehouses youthful gangsters and makes it impossible for the bright to learn is expensive, and has a negative return
Rushi@rushicrypto

I’m very confused about the number of people who think “property tax” is a sales tax on you home rather than taxes to pay for public services you use every day. “I paid off my home why do i still pay property taxes?!?!?” Oh, did you also stop using the roads and libraries and sidewalks and parks? Not worried about fires anymore?

My thoughts on the fact that we now have enough signatures to trigger an referendum on Alberta independence. Can't wait to hear the "no" try to sell us on the idea of staying in in this failed experiment called Confederation

@Will_Tanner_1 Property tax is the same as HOA fees and for basically the same reasons on a much larger, all inclusive scale.

"I'm from the government, and I'm here to help." The entire reason the Vaccine Injury Support Program (VISP) was independent was to ensure that the harmer (government) couldn't interfere with the harmed (vax injured). Now that the program has become so overloaded with victims, proof in itself that there's a tremendous amount of harm done, the same government that caused the harm is taking over the program. This is the pinnacle of corruption and injustice.

😡 ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING POWER GRAB! The Carney Liberals are already scheming to PROROGUE Parliament the SECOND they sweep the April 13 by-elections in Scarborough Southwest, University-Rosedale, and Terrebonne! From a shaky minority (170 seats) straight to a razor-thin majority — then BOOM: they shut down the entire House of Commons, kill EVERY pending bill and debate, and “revamp” committees to give themselves total control. New Throne Speech, zero opposition scrutiny, legislation rammed through like a dictatorship on autopilot. This isn’t “restructuring” — it’s the final nail in democratic debate. Straight from Trudeau’s scandal-dodging playbook (remember 2020 WE Charity prorogation?) into full-on totalitarian control. No more HoC checks. No more accountability. Just unchecked Liberal rule. Canadians are DONE with these dirty tricks. How much more of our democracy will they burn to cling to power?! How can we STOP this authoritarian BS? Canada is DONE! #LiberalPowerGrab #ProrogueAbuse #CarneyDictatorship #CDNPoli #SaveCanadianDemocracy 🔗 Full Globe and Mail bombshell: apple.news/AHWutGorZQTyam…

MUST READ🚨🚨🚨 “A Prime Minister who holds a personal financial stake in a $2.1 billion aviation fuel investment publicly pressured out the one airline CEO who was warning — in writing, in a legal document — that the economics don't work yet. That's not a theory. That's a timeline of publicly documented facts.”

🚨 There's NO way this is real. THIS IS INSANE. $2.1 BILLION connecting the PM A CEO who predicted his own exit IN WRITING. And a condolence video used as the exit door. I'm keeping everything SUPER simple to understand, follow along. All sources included 🚨✈️

BREAKING: Mark Carney announces $4.4 billion to reduce development fees in Ontario for four years. Ontario will match the $4.4 billion for a total of $8.8 billion. Instead of removing the development charges indefinitely they are using our taxes to fund the development charges

RCMP & the Crown covered up (buried) a police corruption scandal far worse than the TPS corruption probe. Mark Carney used it to blackmail Justin Trudeau & force Justin Trudeau to resign. RCMP & the Crown covered up the scandal because Justin Trudeau & RCMP officers are involved.

Justin Trudeau would have Canadians believe that a private meeting with the Chief of the Toronto Police on Jan 10, 2024 involved discussing antisemitism in the GTA. If that was the case why did Trudeau bring legal counsel & why did TPS Chief appear to be interviewing Trudeau.

ELECTIONS BC & ELECTIONS ONTARIO - DOMINION Bottom line: The Tabulator scanner can be modified to flip votes. The random tests as per elections BC (& Municipal) done in office for the viewer can present all functioning machines. The machines numbering in the thousands move, malfunction and are swapped out. There is NO guarantee that the machines or chain of command is secure. PERIOD. The FOI request were denied.
The SCIF@TheSCIF

Dominion Voting System's built-in feature to flip votes exposed. Whoever has access to the machine can flip thousands of votes at the click of a button, on top of the built-in remotely accessible backdoors. They knew this and kept it a secret, even lied under oath, until it was exposed.

BC didn’t even know until the Americans told them. Canada hasn’t sanctioned them. Our Minister of Foreign Affairs RAN AWAY FROM REPORTERS when they asked her about it. Dear Mr. Nenshi, "Mend your speech a little, lest it may mar your fortunes." — William Shakespeare I am writing to you today with this thought in mind. I felt disappointed and concerned when I see broad labels, such as 'separatist', used to describe supporters of an Independent Alberta, because it feels dehumanizing to me and seems to contradict the ANDP's policy on harassment. I would appreciate it if we could commit to using people-first language, such as 'people who support an independent Alberta,' so that we can maintain the dignity of all groups in our public discourse. I have attached the policy excerpt for your reference. Thank you for your time and leadership on this matter. Sincerely, A person who supports Alberta Independence CC: @GCarabine
