Cows running down I-45 in Houston. Welcome to Texas! 🤠

@Marcus_Mosher Yeah I like both acquisitions but it just can’t be all they do. They need at least one LB and probably another because you can’t trust Overshown to play healthy, a nickel or a safety pending how they use Thompson, another pass rusher, and an outside corner for insurance. It’s bad

Seems like the Patrick Queen idea may have hit a snag. Was told no updates as of this hour and on him specifically “probably not going there”

I can tell you the Cowboys were still talking to Lloyd when I checked in at 7:30 tonight but there was a sense his price was gonna be a little high for them. Patrick Queen still one I’m watching

The #Cowboys make another addition, this time agreeing to terms FA S Jalen Thompson, formerly of the #AZCardinals, per me and @SlaterNFL. He gets a 3-year, $36M max deal done by Don Weatherell and Martin Fischman of @KlutchSports.

The #Titans aren’t done, they’ve agreed to terms with CB Alontae Taylor, as the former #Saints star moves on. He gets a 3-year deal worth $60M with $42M fully guaranteed in a deal done by Trevon Smith of @AthletesFirst.

Lefties unite? The #Falcons are making a strong early push to sign former #Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, sources tell The Insiders. With Michael Penix recovering from a torn ACL, Atlanta is making a move for an economic contingency plan and competition at the position.

The #Cowboys & OT Terence Steele restructured his deal and his new one includes $22M in fully guaranteed money, a base value of $33 -- $36M max, per me and @TomPelissero. The deal, negotiated by @ErikBurkhardt of @RocNationSports, creates about $13M in additional cap space.
