You need to go through city.
But if you have a ring road you can bypass the city.
That's how you reduce the traffic in the city and decrease your travel time.

hyd doesn’t allow goods vehicles into city, chennai doesnt allow.
vizag & mumbai doesnt have that flexibility or ring roads skipping ports.
