I googled my landlord.
He owns 34 properties.
Manages them through 3 LLCs.
Lives in a $1.3 million house.
Has never fixed my heating properly.
My rent increase is his mortgage payment on preperty number 35.
I am not a tenant. I am a revenue stream who gets to sleep here.

@StephenKing Their wealth is tied to their companies that employ hundreds of thousands of people. To force a liquidation to pay a tax would put all those jobs at risk. We will see repression like we saw in the 1940s-1970s to inflate away the national debt as well as long term personal debt
