Here’s my take on the ticket gauging for Game One - Sabres season ticket holders, especially the ones who’ve been ride or die for this entire drought, are fully within their right to try and make some money back given the loses they’ve most likely had over the years I had to give up my tickets with my dad years ago because we couldn’t financially justify it anymore. We couldn’t give tickets away - Fans who are upset that these same STHs are charging double or more the face value are also within their right to be upset given the economy and the chances you’d be selling to an opposing teams fan over a Sabres fan Both of these things are allowed to be true Am I upset? No not really. I fully expected this to happen. If I’m a long time STH though who wasn’t able to get the opportunity to buy extra, because they were offered up to everybody I’d absolutely be upset. I personally don’t think someone who has been a STH for a year should get the same priority as someone who’s been a STH for the entirety of the drought. That is my Sabres playoff ticket Ted Talk
