I’ve had so many people asking me about Ben that I wanted to let you know-Ben had a 2nd chemo injection on October 23rd and from that day has been getting worse and worse. He has lost use of his back legs-almost like they’re paralyzed. He can barely walk. He hasn’t eaten in 3 days. I’m currently in Pennsylvania with a holistic Dr who is administering a 3 day Vitamin C IV hoping it will flush the toxics from his body and give him a chance. The next 24-48 hours will tell us if he has a chance or not. I’m so thankful for ALL the love so many have shown him over the last couple years. One of the hardest things I’ve gone through in my life. Ben is my best friend and companion. I love him with all of my heart. If you’re a spiritual person I’d love for you to pray for my boy. 🙏🏼 He’s currently in an ER hospital overnight and I’m picking him up tomorrow for another round of Vitamin C. Please pray for Ben and hope he pulls out of it.

@AirlineFlyer Most frustrating part to us was the effort after the issue. We would have had to go back to Miami airport everyday to get a new hotel directly compensated, as they could only do one night at a time, so we just booked our own hotel.

@AirlineFlyer Not sure what we will get reimbursed, but did not want to wait and find out when another flight would be available, as our luggage was already on a different flight to Milwaukee without us, so our family of 5 would have nothing besides what we brought on the flight.

@AirlineFlyer We ended up driving from Atlanta to Milwaukee after missing our connecting flight due to a 90 minute delay from Miami to Atlanta yesterday. When we landed in Atlanta we were #104 on the list to get helped. 2 hours later, #50, so we just started the 13 hour'ish drive home.

@AirlineFlyer So as long as we get to Atlanta we can at least start the 12 hour drive home. 🤞🤞🤞

@AirlineFlyer Been trying to get back to Wisconsin since Friday. Was hopeful for today, but our Miami to Atlanta flight is delayed an hour, so now most likely missing our connecting flight from ATL to MKE. Thankfully, booked a car in Atlanta as a plan B - or maybe it's like plan J now.
