Ferrari has just officially unveiled its first ever all-electric car, called the Ferrari Luce. • Starting price: $640,000 • Interior co-designed with Apple's former head of design, Jony Ive • Range: 280 miles (expected EPA) • Peak charging speed: 350kW • 122 kWh battery • 1,050 horsepower • 0-60mph: 2.4s • 800v • Four-door four-seater • Four electric motors • OLED screens • Weight: 4,982 lbs • Front motors spin to 30,000 rpm, rears hit 25,500 rpm • Car uses an accelerometer to capture real vibrations from the electric motors & rear chassis. An algorithm filters out unpleasant frequencies and amplifies only the more “musical” sounds. This can be heard inside and outside the car. • Paddle shifter on steering wheel changes how aggressively torque is delivered, with five different levels • The trunk has 21.1 cubic feet of space, the largest luggage capacity the company has ever offered • 197.6 inches long, about as long as a Tesla Model S U.S. deliveries start in Q2 2027. @KRoelandschap @TeslaOwnersNL This was clearly evident that the RDW forced Tesla to hard code in additional unnecessary VRU code, rather than let the NN do their job and analyze and predict it's surroundings, one of the worst things about needing to comply with EU regulations is the need to force the system!

Why is FSD so anxious around pedestrians?
What rules or inputs did RDW exactly give in order to get FSD to behave like this?
Clearly you see a dude walking on the sidewalk, separated by bollards and a couple feet away from the car
It seems as though VRUs coming from the side are seen as projectiles jolting towards the car to come F shit up

Mercedes has just officially unveiled the production version of its all-electric AMG GT 4-Door Coupe.
• Range: ~315 miles (EPA)
• 1,153 hp
• 0-60 mph: 2.0s
• Peak charging speed: 600kW
• 106 kWh battery
• 10-80% state of charge as low as 11 mins. Can add 244 miles of range in 10 mins.
• Formula 1-based 800-volt battery
• Fake V8 engine noises & gear shift sounds (shown below)
• Mercedes said it’s using 1,600 audio files to “sonically interpret” different driving situations. The car makes “exhaust burbles and pops" like as gas car.
• Axial-flux motors (a first). Runs parallel to the motor’s axis of rotation. In a conventional electric motor, it runs perpendicular to the axis. The front axial flux motor reaches more than 15,000 rpm at top speed.
• 2660 cylindrical cells stacked vertically, arrayed in 18 modules, nine to a side. Nickel-cobalt-manganese-aluminum chemistry. Energy density of 298 Wh/kg.
• Active aerodynamics
• Top speed: 186-mph
• Double sunroof with illuminated AMG logos over both driver and passenger seats
• Triple-screen layout. 10.2" digital instrument cluster alongside a pair of 14" screens. Infotainment display is slightly tilted toward the driver.
• Optional 5 seat layout

Some FSD-related options/features I think would be cool if @Tesla offered:
1) Annual FSD subscription: starting at $999/year (price goes up in future as FSD gets better).
2) Short term pass for rental fleets/Turo: When an individual rents a Tesla, they may not want to pay $99 for a full month FSD subscription, especially if they are just renting for a weekend. Tesla could offer short-term FSD passes that last a few days, with the option to extend if needed. Just make sure first time FSD users take a quick tutorial.
3) FSD family plan: If a family/household already owns a Tesla with FSD and purchases a second Tesla, offer FSD on the additional vehicle at a slightly discounted monthly rate.
4) FSD Leaderboards: Tesla has already started gamifying FSD a bit by showing owners their total FSD miles and usage percentage. Take it a step further with global and/or regional leaderboards that rank drivers by total FSD miles. There are definitely people out there who would love the bragging rights of being among the top global FSD users. I'm sure this would result in Tesla getting even more FSD data quicker.
5) FSD subscription for HW3 Tesla owners for $69/month: These owners helped fund and train FSD, yet they currently can’t access the latest and most capable version of the software, but they pay the same price as someone who can. It’s unclear how V14 Lite will compare to the full V14 experience, but until HW3 owners are able to upgrade to AI4, I think offering them a discount on the monthly FSD subscription seems reasonable.

Forum Mobility customer Big F Transport just ordered 40 Tesla Semi units after demoing one, expanding their fleet that’s already running 9 Daimler eCascadias at the Port of Long Beach.
The new trucks will charge at the upcoming FM Santa Fe depot in Rancho Dominguez, which features 14 ultra-fast MCS pull-through lanes and is expected to go online Q1 2027.
