It was great to visit and give a seminar @CWRUMacro, where I did my postdoc with Ica Manas, Don Feke and @StuartJRowan. I am impressed by ongoing research of faculty members, and enjoyed meetings with @AbhiS_Case, @SvetaMoro, @ArbitraryEffect, @gwnek, Joao Maia, and Ken Ishida.

5 years ago today with the help of many, I isolated the californium mellitate xmas tree. Still definitely a top 3 crystal I have ever seen especially due to the timing of the year. It alone was so radioactive it damaged the glass slide it was on.

Despite our group’s fun, there was a noticeable difference in conference attendance this year. Looking forward to future meetings in locations where all of our @ChEnected community feels safe and welcomed.
