Congrats to former Calgary Storm player @DwayneGareauPA on winning the national masters championship with his team YXE last weekend. I think we briefly interacted on this platform a while back. We took a trip down memory lane in our latest episode that you might enjoy.

It’s tragic that the resource rich and wealthy province of Saskatchewan has a school division opting to cut band and music programs because the @saskparty government is hell bent on chronically underfunding public education and robbing our kids of a rich educational experience.

Great weekend and last couple of weeks for University of Saskatchewan huskies sports. Women’s basketball and men’s hockey win Canada west titles. Mens and women’s volleyball both qualifying for nationals. Well done Huskies. Well done.

The annual costume competition at our high school over lunch hour was amazing. Our student body is super engaged in all areas of school and it’s humbling to be a part of this ride.

@deb_bidulka That was definitely a low point and embarrassing politicking. Saskatchewan is a wonderful province with wonderful people who are kind, caring and can be accepting. It just takes true leadership. There are plenty of new MLA’s with an opportunity to change the temperature.

@DwayneGareauPA Like your optimism. Have lost mine when the SK Party vilified teachers and nurses.

With Sask election coming to a close I’m hoping ALL elected MLA’s can find ways to work towards achieving a better future together. No matter your political affiliation divisive politics is no way to govern. It’s ok to have differing opinions but leaders bring people together.

Well done for our St Mary boys soccer team finishing as the second best high school team in the province losing 2-0 to Holy Cross out of Saskatoon in the provincial final ⁦@shsaasport⁩

My ideal politicians are those who advocate & bring a passion to serving the constituents that elect them to office. They are in it for the people & it’s not self serving. It’s why I’m happily endorsing @carolynstrom for my riding. She will work tirelessly for the people in PA.

Saskatoon Alliance under 17 boys representing Sask just beat Ontario 2-1 to win soccer club Nationals. These young men should & will be elated but won’t truly know the magnitude of that win until way into their playing careers. Soak it in lads well deserved! @CanadaSoccerEN

Big shout out to Taryn Izsak and the rest of the @HuskieWSOC team for embracing our under 11 Prince Albert Celtic girls in their 2-1 win over Regina. Love seeing Celtic alumni Izsak making our girls feel special with autographs and showing them their team room. First class!

Everyone owes Zach Wilson an apology. This Jets staff on offense is inept. We will see if one of the best QBs ever can overcome it but so far it’s bad. The @nyjets should have moved on from Hackett.

I will match these donations too up to $500.

With school starting for students in Saskatchewan today remember the hard work of so many in the education sector working to create a positive environment of those humans entrusted in their care. Public education is a great gift and one that should never be taken for granted.
