@MJCheen The games are generally much more dull nowadays and lighting isn't as good as it used to be. As for direct 1 to 1 comparisons with graphics settings, the biggest thing in my opinion is the fact that we can't disable anti aliasing anymore which makes the game more blurry.

@MaTtKs @Reidboy24 Is there anything that causes a player to get more or less lag comp or desync? I am nearly certain I've experienced a very different feeling game and connection to servers when I was on a friend's account one time.

@SuperAkouma I played A LOT of it pre-patch since I had no internet (Azazel was one of the single most ridiculous boss fights I've ever seen pre-patch, what was the defense like 99.5% or something?), so maybe that's why my memory of the experience is what it is

@DyingComposure Input lag was discussed at the time if I remember correctly but I don't think I've heard anyone call the gameplay sluggish

@Arcitys Isn't there a guy who literally makes custom boards for controllers and said that anything over 1k is nonsense and that it's fully dependent on the hardware itself and using the correct USB port?

TLDR: Use 4K or 2K. Try 4K first. Never use 1K MEGATHREAD ON CONTROLLER OVERCLOCKING PLEASE READ THIS I’m going to go over when to use 8K and when to NOT use it. Do. Not. Use. 1K. PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS BELOW Because a lot of misinformation is going around saying to “use 1K it’s better” 1. It has been tested with an IRL camera 8K DOES have less latency and input delay then 1K 2. BUTTT 8K can feel worse depending on the game engine and your CPU. It can be to demanding. If you have an older cpu not something strong like a 9800x3d or an intel 12th-14th gen it can possibly feel like garbage 3. If 8K feels bad PLEASE USE 4K. Also 4K very rarely on some game engines / CPU’s will still feel bad. But normally this is the sweet spot. If not use 2K. 4. This “use 1K” bs is just spreading bc 8K feels worse for some people. And causes stutters on some games, So they go back to default before trying 2K or 4K.

@Priestahh 2 of 20 games I've played didn't have cheaters lmao, I sound like a conspiracy theorist or something talking about how many I come across, but I've got witnesses now at least lmao

@reaperreapzz Nah, x3d CPUs are made to run out of the box and aren't really meant to be tweaked, with the exception of changing how Windows uses the cores during gaming, in the event you have the 12 or 16 core CPUs. There are for sure some reasons to tweak stuff, but not for gaming or content

@Harada_TEKKEN I don't mind the concept of even more Ogres, but I have to say, in particular I greatly enjoy the presentation and presence of Ancient Ogre specifically, he was always so cool, and Tekken 3 as the first game I can remember, sticks a lot. It would still be great to see him return.

Originally, there has been a setting in TEKKEN that says, “There is one Ogre per continent.”
(To be precise, Kimoto-san and I explicitly wrote this concept in a planning document back in 1995.)
In other words, from the very beginning, the world of TEKKEN was envisioned to have at least six Ogres across the six continents..and it was implied that there might be even more still lying dormant somewhere.
I also mentioned this idea in interviews conducted after the release of TEKKEN 3.
The Ogre appearing this time is one of the several that have been dormant on the island of Madagascar.
Unlike the Ogre that appeared in Mexico, this one is a legendary being revered as a guardian deity, said to have once driven away invading enemies from the island.

@Harada_TEKKEN Question? The only 2 characters that had a direct connection to ogre who was the were our native amercians Michelle and Julia, considering he is in cental America... so how did we get to Madagascar? How did we get here? Will that be a explained later down the line
