#PowerAlert1 Wednesday, 19 March 2025: While we have made notable progress in our generation recovery efforts, Eskom faced the loss of five generation units before the peak period. Consequently, Stage 2 loadshedding was implemented at 18:25 and will remain in effect until 5:00 tomorrow. We continue to prioritising planned maintenance to strengthen system reliability ahead of the winter months, while ensuring adherence to environmental and licensing conditions. In light of the ongoing system constraints, we urge the public to use electricity sparingly. Eskom sincerely apologises for the inconvenience caused and will continue to provide updates as required.

@supersonicfibre is the fibre down in parkmore Sandton? I haven't had coverage since 9am Saturday. No one answering at the call centre. And the chat bot on WhatsApp doesn't have any answers except for a stalling statement about a high amount of call volumes

@MyJRA ref #5386220 from July. Potholes on the corner of Olympia and 13th in parkmore is getting bigger. Cars travelling towards riverclub need to go onto the other side of the road towards oncoming traffic to go through this intersection. Please address

Region B #RandburgOutages Power was restored at #OlivedaleSub however it tripped due to overload on the network, affecting #Bromhof The team is currently balancing and monitoring the load, they will restore in stages until the load subsides. ^DR
