アメリカの作曲家Raymond Scottが、赤ちゃんの為の心安らぐ音楽をテーマに、1962年に発表した『Soothing Sounds for Baby』をイギリスのアンビエント作家Dylan Hennerが現代の文脈に沿って再解釈した作品。『本作の制作にあたり、Scottの音楽は創造的にも文化的にも触れることのできないものだから、彼の作品からあまり引用したくなかった。でも、自分の赤ちゃん（そしてこのレコードを聴かせる全ての両親の赤ちゃん）には、自分なりの癒しと意味のあるものを提供したかった。』と作者が語る通る。 当時のScottが残した原音に倣うのではなく、彼が残したその思いを引き継ぐように新たに構築した、心地よい安らぎと睡眠へ誘う、無限的でまろやかな雰囲気の極上アンビエント。[GRRRDEN]
