Oldest brother played at BYU, he died when I was a freshman in HS & 7 months later my mom died from cancer. My dad checked out & left me to fend for myself. I slept in schools & house jumped since the age of 16. I walked on to BYU, like the story “Rudy”, but got cut not even a year into me playing there. I was told that I was the “slowest” & “worst receiver” in the room, at the time I was there. I contemplated quitting. Giving up. But after everyone I’ve already endured? I realized that was FOOLISH. I took the harsh criticism & reality of my situation & owned it. I decided to work harder. RELENTLESSLY. I type my story & am putting myself out there because at the end of the day, no matter HOW much you lose.. God will double your blessings as long as you PERSEVERE. Playing for the @utahislanders this summer for film, working on getting my AA, after this fall I will be on FULL-GO, READY for an opportunity.
