My biggest criticism of Dundon from the beginning, which he admitted to on the podcast the other day, is that he does not get the ways in which the NBA doesn't work like the NHL and the things you have to pay for there. Today is certainly an example of that.

Timberwolves cut about 100 people after the sale to A-Rod and Marc Lore was finalized. I was hopeful that similar cuts wouldn’t happen here but they have. Thinking about all the great people who have contributed to the organization who have lost their jobs today.

The Deni/Dame trades were both good to home run territory, and give Cronin some well deserved leeway imo.
However, he has plenty of misses:
Norman Powell for Keon Johnson.
Josh Hart for Kris Murray.
NAW for Torn ACL Joe Ingles and Jabari Walker.

I’ll trust plugged-in reporters opinion of the Assistant GM over just blindly looking at the draft picks made, but if this is the case then Cronin should been more criticized for nailing just one pick (Clingan) since taking the job.

Nitpick individual draft picks if you want to but anyone who thinks the Blazers are a better organization without Mike Schmitz than with him is wrong, full stop. He's going to do great in Dallas. Incredible opportunity and promotion for him.

Finally watched the 2026 adaptation of Wuthering Heights last night. I love Margot Robbie & thought she did well. I don’t think I have ever seen Jacob Elordi in anything prior to this, but thought he did well also.
That being said, I just wasn’t a fan of the adaptation overall. I had been remaining hopeful it wouldn’t be as bad as some were saying it was.

The Spurs are obviously well ran but lottery luck has a ton to do with that sustained success. They’ve never moved down in the lottery ever!
They have had 3 No. 1 picks, all drafts which had no-doubt-about-it Hall of Fame big men available.

small market underdogs have it the worst with there being no local broadcast for the 1st round anymore
