Final: Amesbury 77, Hampshire 57 Parker DeLong drops a 30-piece, and Justin Dube (15 pts, 7 rebs), Chase Linsey (15 pts) and Ollie Peters (9 pts) have great games as well. The No. 26 Redhawks move on to the D4 first round, where they'll travel to Lynn Tech on Sunday.

WEST BRIDGEWATER BOYS BASKETBALL: West Bridgewater 71 Apponequet 55 February 9, 2026. West Bridgewater qualified for the MIAA playoffs by defeating Apponequet 71-55. West Bridgewater’s Ben Stapleton had an exceptional game as he scored a personal career high 24 points, led the team in assists with 5 and had a rebound, block and steal in the game. J.J. MacLean scored 18 points including 4 (3-pointers). West Bridgewater led the entire game and outscored Apponequet 21-10 in the second quarter and hit 8 (3-pointers in the game as team factors in the win. Star of the Game: West Bridgewater’s Ben Stapleton scored a personal career high 24 points. Ben scored in every way possible that included standard baskets, 3 (3-pointers) and was a perfect 5/5 from the free throw line. Ben scored 8 West Bridgewater points in a row in the final quarter. Scoring per quarter: 1Q 5 points, 2Q 5 points, 3Q 6 points and 4Q 8 points. In addition to his career game, Ben Stapleton also contributed with assists, a rebound, block and a steal in the game. Sharp Shooting Wildcat: West Bridgewater’s J.J. MacLean scored 11 points in the third quarter including 3 of his 4 (3-pointers) in the game. Wildcat Support Factor: The West Bridgewater Cheer Team was an outstanding support in the game and have done some exceptional halftime routines this season. West Bridgewater is now 10-7 this season.
