@kkrob13 @AndresR030105 And just outta frame is Keagan Rothrock’s dad (Greg) doing the “Suck my Dick” gesture towards the Tech players. Absolutely disgusting behavior of a “Proud Softball Dad”. You can see it on the ESPN broadcast wideshot during this moment

@AndresR030105 Context is important... but just like typical media you choose to post the last portion of the video and not the first half where TTU went to the line just like normal. Florida showed their ass in defeat and we went mental. Lol "ugly scene" is the first 30 seconds you forgot!

An ugly scene at the end of the game. Texas Tech starts talking to the fans and making hand gestures and the teams do not shake hands. Keagan Rothrock’s dad, Greg Rothrock, was seen getting berated by a Red Raider fan at the end of the game as well.

@Seth_3773 Funny how this video cuts out the few seconds prior when Greg Rothrock is literally doing the suck my dick gesture to the Tech female athletes. Disgusting of a “Proud Softball Dad”. They lined up to shake hands. Florida didn’t. Talk about having class and sportsmanship, UF didnt

Texas Tech softball taunting the fans after a big win. I was surprised it was girls, but I guess I’m not. Totally the coaching staff and these kids parents fault for this kind of behavior. Apparently these teams didn’t shake hands after.

@zach_moore27 I mean Keagan Rothrock’s dad (Greg) was on the ESPN broadcast doing the “suck my dick” gesture to the Tech players when they lined up to tried and shake hands. That’s definitely more classless

WATCH: For example, Jason Williams was seen yelling toward the Florida dugout after Texas Tech hit a home run. At the end of the video, he did the Gator Chomp in mockery of where he once played. Ugly scene during an incredible series.

@rileyorovitz Now talk about Greg Rothrock telling Tech female athletes to “Suck his dick” with obscene gestures while they attempted to shake hands. That’s below classless. That’s straight trashy and disgusting of a “proud softball dad”. GTFO with this woe is me mentality

Do the C's on Texas Tech softball jerseys stand for the ones that took cash, credit, and checks? 🤔

Did Jason Williams honestly come to Gainesville thinking that Mia would get some kind of warm welcome? Seriously, she chased a bag to leave and go to Bag Drop University.

@IamIhsanMarwat @stoolpresidente The issue is that it’s the LOSING team, Florida, who refused to shake hands. Sportsmanship is also losing with dignity and pride, gators had none. Especially with the HC intentionally getting himself tossed when they were down to the last out

Just saw Dave Portnoy roasting this Texas Tech softball situation and honestly he's spot on. Girls win big, celebrate like they earned it, skip the awkward handshakes… and suddenly the whole story flips to “poor sportsmanship” on them? If roles were reversed we all know the narrative would be different. Sports is fire and emotion, not a tea party. Who you siding with here ? 🤔

I'm such a @sportsiren Holly Rowe fan but I agree with Chris on this. In football Texas Tech spends less on their roster than Texas and several SEC teams yet all anyone talks about is TT "buying players". Now I'm seeing the same double-standard in softball when anyone affiliated with the sport should be thrilled that a major university is investing so heavily in their program -- especially in today's 'football-only' culture. Texas Tech should be applauded instead of having people throwing shade their way simply because they are going all in and winning. For years in football the bluebloods of the sport used bagmen to help build their rosters under the table. Now that comping players and NIL are legal the bluebloods of the sport can't stand having to play by the same rules as everyone else. Softball clearly has a little bit of that same blueblood arrogance, and the @GatorsSB softball team should be embarrassed for the "sore loser" mentality they displayed after the game today. No one faults these young ladies for being disappointed, but refusing to shake hands only reflects poorly on the University of Florida. Furthermore, @bethmowins ought to be relegated to high school sports for sharing in this arrogance during the broadcast. I'm a Michigan State alum, and like Texas Tech we've historically been chasing the bluebloods in our conference and nationally. The more success I see from Texas Tech the more I hope MSU's distinguished alumni are watching and learning from them so maybe we can join them as one of the "new bloods". In the meantime, here's a message for Beth Mowins and/or anyone else covering Tx Tech's games going forward: if you're not going to discuss how much Texas, Florida, or Ohio State are paying for their rosters then kindly STFU about how much Texas Tech is spending. Congrats to @TexasTechSB and good luck in the @WCWSsoftball ! #WCWS #RedRaiders #Gators #ESPN @espn #NCAA #softball

Well Chris 15 of 23 on one roster is higher than normal. It is context. Also Game 60 doesn’t matter. You can’t assume viewers have watched before. TV 101

@sportsiren Where’s the source of 15 of 23? Generally curious. @On3 NIL valuations had Florida with 10 of the top 100 softball players in NIL. TTU has 3. Mia is second on the team and #86. UF had 8/10 higher than that

@espn @sportsiren is Texas Tech Softball the only team to sign anybody from the Transfer Portal? Quit trying to make it about the transfers…It’s Game 60…Come on be better!

@tyeckring12 Florida has 10 of the Top 100 softball players in NIL. TTU has 3. And Mia Williams is second on the team at #86. According to @On3 NIL valuations. So yeah Gators spent more lmao It was a great game but the “Tech only bought a team” narrative is so overblown

-We lost to a team that was the 2nd favorite to win the entire thing pre tourney. -They probably spend 5X us - Our coach has been to 6 of the last 8 WCWS Everyone needs to just take a deep breathe w/ some of the takes.

@KyleHunt0783 @RCMB323 Honestly he should have stayed in the first place. The closer to home I am sure may be part of it. However, the NIL money probably was as much if not more responsible for the move Glad he is home and staying until next year when he moves to Arkansas for a "better opportunity".

@PaulTassi Struggling to get past their feeble attempt art pieces in the game with AI Slop. it's a shame they'd do something so silly but it's enough to push me and I'm sure many others away from even touching the game.

OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL: Six former @TexasTechFB players say they made a pact - get matching Double T tattoos if the team wins the Big 12 Championship game. And this week they made good on that pact. I just love this because there's a first time for everything...even at 74!

We’ve gone from “the 14th best SEC team would win a power conference” to “it’s uneven that the bottom of the SEC has to play higher rated ACC / B12 teams” in just one season lmao

SEC Numbers Guy@secnumbersguy

Something to note on the SEC’s non-conference bowl losses: -3rd best team vs #1 ACC team -9th best team vs #2 ACC team -10th best team vs #4 Big 12 team When you are as DEEP as the SEC you end up with uneven and meaningless matchups.

@Dylanpettit7 @ACCessPony Yeah they didn’t give my SEC alma mater any handicap points for playing the Sugar Bowl with a backup QB last year. Or the SEC Championship in 23 when we played without two future all-rookies. Keep yelling at clouds though
