There are a number of special situations that come into play during the season, and especially the post season. Set aside time in practice to work on these and put players in live game situations. This will help players execute at a high level when it matters most! Here is a good run down of situations you can use with your team courtesy of @dynamiccoaches! I like adding in the last 2,3, 4 minutes of a game with bonus or a certain amount of timeouts. We let assistant coaches work with a specific team. @DynamicCoaches We use a quickly identifiable goal in game of scoring 13 points in a Q while holding our opponent to 10. After a game, we use specific stats, such as high post feeds, points per possession, shot selection avg, FT rate, & eFG, in order to identify potential areas of improvement.
