It’s taught me more about risk, psychology, and money management than most traditional paths. So the answer shouldn’t be “gambling is bad” or banning industries — it should be protecting vulnerable people while recognising not everyone is being harmed.

@mattzarb If you’re pushing to ban greyhound racing, that is restricting choice regardless of how it’s framed. Consumer protection should mean better regulation and enforcement, not removing the option entirely for responsible adults.

Was just playing mystery bounty (nut worst poker format) and I thought the following could improve them: 1) 50% of mystery goes to head like a PKO 2) when you pull a “bad” bounty you have the chance to spin wheel (with small rake) to multiply to a “gold” bounty 3) There’s one gold bounty that lasts from the first hand (late regging mysteries are overpowered atm) 4) we delete them and pretend they never existed. Thoughts?

Its all well and good to talk about the threat of the black market. But the reality is punters cannot deposit and bet what they want in the regulated market. Until support of affordability checks is withdrawn and the failed policy is ended the black market will continue to grow.

@michaeledowning @PokerStarsBlog No Michael. It’s due to pokerstars not wanting to operate in grey markets, due to a tight license they have under flutter entertainment. They have less markets to operate in which means lower GTDs
