How is that a common foul but reviewing Plumlees is a flagrant??? If Dort got up in Wemby like Vassell did to Chet we’d never hear the end.

@aryh21 Half of his free throws in game 5 came off of; a flop in the backcourt, falling ovee the halfcourt line, falling on the sideline and falling on the box out when he wasn't close to a long def reb. So not even shooting fouls, just falling anywhere on the court and getting FTs.

@ThunderHusky17 Wemby is already used to it. Lu went full speed knee to knee on Wemby earlier in the season. Ihart Trying to pull his arm out the socket, etc. The only thing different now is the getback.

I can tell you one thing. Wemby will not have a long NBA career playing this way. The Thunder are far too classy to engage in the stuff he wants to do that’s underhanded and dirty but eventually he’s going to find a Draymond, Brooks, or Grayson Allen that is going to be willing…

@BoBosBack @ThunderHusky17 @TheMarkKnight_ Yes they want free throws for non shooting fouls. That's how the Thunder generate a decent amount of their free throws. Falling and getting calls, when they get a ref crew who doesn't call a lot of the falls, they aren't nearly as imposing of a team.

This kind of defense brings a happy, nostalgic tear to my eye. @POLO_PrOtotype can tell you I was damn near apoplectic a few years back when SA's defense fell off. To me, a suffocating, swarming Spurs defense is the quintessential counterpart to the Beautiful Game.
