Be careful making reactionary dynasty trades based on draft related reports this time of year.
This is where teams start positioning and leaking their interest/lack of interest for certain players, whether they want to trade up or down or not at all, etc. Some of it genuine, some of it straight bluffing.
They intentionally make it difficult to figure out what’s real and what’s not when it comes to their draft plans.
Dynasty markets react instantly to news that might be legit, might be smoke, but just be aware of the cutthroat nature of this part of the cycle.

There have been 82 WR prospects drafted since 2018 with a college career YPRR under 2.
- Six have had a top 24 fantasy season (7.3%)
- Five have had a top 12 season (6.1%)
- Seven have had a 12+ PPG season (8.5%)
- Four have had a 15+ PPG season (4.9%)
My favorite threshold to find busts. Makes you OVER THREE times less likely to hit 12 PPG when compared to the hit rate of every drafted WR since 2018

@DannyBkz @FFJaedonTalks Flagged him for a low yards per carry and a low 15+ yard runs/attempt. Not the end of the world but both put him in a lower hit rate bucket with a capped upside. Draft capital/landing spot could flip them for me. Even right now, they’re probably 2a/2b as is

@DynoDayTraders I think Price can do it, they just didn’t ask him to. He averaged 14.5 yards per catch, had a 0.0% drop rate throughout his college career, and had solid receiving production in high school.

@FFJaedonTalks I like that comp. Both didn’t get much rushing work. One thing that helped Cook stand out is all the receiving work. I wish Price had more work there

Darius Taylor returned to college, but it’s encouraging that the Gophers’ RB would have been 5th in career yards after contact had he declared in 2026.

Since 2018, RBs drafted with a college career Yards After Contact/Attempt of below 3.2 have a 3% hit rate of 12+ PPG (1/33) If you use sub 3.4 to gain a larger sample size, the hit rate only jumps to 9.7% (8/62) *For reference, using the total sample: ALL RBs drafted since 2018 have a 26.8% hit rate of 12+ PPG Being below these thresholds makes you significantly less likely to hit 12 PPG Whereas, being at 3.8 or 4+ gets you to 41.7 and 45% hit rates respectively

College Yards per carry feels noisy, but the splits are hard to ignore
Since 2018, drafted RBs:
<5.7 YPC ➡️ 12.8% hit a 12+ PPG season in the NFL (10/78)
≥5.7 YPC ➡️ 39.5% hit 12+ PPG (34/86)
Below 5.7 also seems to significantly limit ceiling outcomes:
Sub 5.7 YPC ➡️ 7.7% (16+ PPG), 2.6% (18+ PPG)
It’s not a death sentence, but it does cap the upside case
