@theabibyama @p_u_p_i At least Apple & Adobe forced Google to reintroduce support in Chrome for the better "JPEG XL" (Adobe's preferred image format for PDFs, that google actually invented and then brushed aside in favour of AVIF) using a new secure Rust based decoder. It's disabled by default though.

@theabibyama @p_u_p_i From what I can see, I understand why I see artists hating AVIF. It AGGRESSIVELY compresses, smoothing out fine detail, and requiring long encoding times. It's not lossless, encoding in AVIF generates artifacts from the original image. Non-browser software struggles with it.

Higher ups realized people were working around the dogshit of a format WEBP is and they needed to make something WORSE so they made AVIF jesus fucking christ

@moricalliope I had a full year of high intensity therapy with an NHS mental health clinic, 1/2 a year working on low self esteem using these books that went very well, and 1/2 a year working on Social Anxiety that unfortunately went nowhere. But the books, when lead by a therapist, can work.

@moricalliope This is you putting yourself down though. It's the negativity projecting thoughts into others (aka Mindreading). I recommend the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy course Overcoming Low Self-Esteem by Melanie Fennel. Genuine therapy. Took 1/2 a year to work through with a therapist.

sometimes I think my lack of self-confidence causes problems for my fans. Please understand I’m trying to work on it!! There are years and years of damage I’ve been trying to undo and it hasn’t been easy. I’ll hang in there and become someone you can be proud to cheer for. 骨♡

@tintillo @DeadBeatsZone Basically that company, NERD, seems to have brought a load of people who work together regularly under one management firm, which should make Suisei's future projects a lot easier to manage and realise.

@tintillo @DeadBeatsZone Also, the two directors of NERD mentioned in the press releases have also worked with Suisei on projects in the past as Creative Directors/Producers or Coordinators. For example you can find them in the Bibbidiba MV credits.

One last tweet about this I don't think this is anything to worry about. It's basically similar to what happened with Calli and UMJ, except that Suisei started her own agency instead of signing with a music label.

@RimaEvenstar It has more risk, but it shows the confidence, and level of existing success, that Suisei has. And the confidence those working with her have in her as well.

@RimaEvenstar It's similar to a western artist creating their own record label. It gives them control over direction and goals, as opposed to joining an existing record label where the contract would be tied to goals from the record label (like Calli and Universal).

Suisei is so big now that she gets her own studio for her solo artist activities!
