In Odessa, a NAFO turd looking couple - a British hobo and an Asian looking twink in a t-shirt "Good evening, we're from Ukraine", got into a heated argument and started insulting a local Ukrainian on the street in a t-shirt "KGB of the USSR". The man at first didn't understand the British accent, and then replied in Russian "Пошли вы на хуй, Американцы" ("Fuck off Americans"), and calmly walked away.🤣🤣🤣

Meanwhile Joseph Stalin died without private corporations, inherited wealth, or billionaire assets. His personal possessions were reportedly modest, consisting mainly of uniforms, books, and personal items. Mao Zedong also did not leave behind private property empires or capitalist fortunes.
Stalin’s son Yakov died after being captured fighting the Nazis and refusing collaboration in captivity. Mao’s son Mao Anying died during the Korean War.
Neither Stalin nor Mao built billionaire dynasties, inherited monopolies, or oligarch families living off political power like we see under modern capitalism.

Once you hit about a 20-point IQ gap, communication starts to completely break down. It's not that the lower IQ person is "stupid" (although that can often be the case) or the higher one is arrogant, it's that you're literally operating on different systems. A 20 point difference (roughly 1.3 standard deviations) means: Vocabulary and abstraction levels diverge sharply. What feels like crystal clear logic to one side sounds like vague, pretentious word salad to the other. Jokes land flat. Metaphors get taken literally. Complex cause and effect chains get simplified into "this good, that bad." Different time horizons and pattern recognition. One person thinks in months or years and sees systems, the other is locked into days or immediate rewards. Trying to explain second order effects feels like speaking another language. Also, processing speed and working memory gaps. The higher IQ person is already three steps ahead, getting impatient. The lower IQ person feels talked down to or overwhelmed. Both walk away frustrated. Both have wasted each others time.

While the Resistance in Lebanon targets occupation soldiers and military assets, Israel's political and military leadership is openly discussing something very different.
Israeli entity Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich reportedly proposed demolishing ten residential buildings in the capital Beirut's southern suburbs for every explosive drone launched by Hezbollah. Meanwhile, Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir argued that Israel can no longer "work with tweezers" and called for a new equation that includes striking buildings in Beirut and Tyre as a means of deterrence.
This is the difference laid bare.
One side speaks of confronting armed occupation forces on the battlefield. The other openly debates collective punishment, threatening entire neighborhoods and civilian infrastructure because it is failing to impose its will through military force.
When Israel cannot secure decisive victories against fighters, they often turn their anger toward civilians. There is a scientific name for this behavior: terror as policy.
The more frustrated the occupation becomes on the battlefield, the more openly its leaders reveal their willingness to punish innocent people for what they cannot achieve against armed resistance.
A classic display of a colonial mindset: unable to break the fighters, it threatens the families, the homes, and the cities.
Diabolical. Criminal. And increasingly impossible to hide.

I find that focusing on discourse initiated by or surrounding streamers often leads people to doggedly defend the precise words of one streamer versus another's, rather than actually holding and defending a position of their own. It discourages independent thought.

They're just usually very poor examples to follow, and that's all anyone ever seems to do, is follow them like a lost child.

Many are also absolutely loathe to admit mistakes or accept correction, out of fear of losing currency with their audience. Instead, if absolutely necessary, they simply adopt a new position hoping no one will ask what precipitated the change in view.
