And this all in 20th century. I'm sure we all can name movements in the 21st century. We all know people who pretend to believe the lies spread, only so they can support those in power, who will not hesitate to deliver the darkest wishes of many.

Dystopia is when people know they are lied by those in power, and still they don't mind it - they even spread the lies themselves and pretend to believe in them! - because those in power will fulfill their darkest wishes.
