#Earth2 Reality Thread 7 is incoming! Another major #E2V1 Pre-Alpha release so be sure to check out the full article to get the latest & understand why we have been so busy the past 2 months🌍✌️ 👉earth2.io/news/reality-t… As I have said, if we are quiet then we are busy building! A huge amount of updates packed into this release including a fully fledged global questing system, cosmetic skins, multiple new Character devices, new $ESS burn mechanics & utility, new badge access & much more in addition to time consuming improvements on the #E2V1 Global Building System! Our #E2V1 releases are our progress. No hype - just releases & getting the foundations for #Earth2 right. Every Reality Thread brings #Earth2 closer to its long term vision, system on system, feature on feature. One foot after the other. Expanding utility & purpose for land, Essence & other digital items inside #Earth2! On this occasion we are releasing the article in advance so Players have some time to review their existing Quests. As a courtesy, our team has already cleared & auto refunded all $E Quests and also cleared all Quests created before the storage space check systems were deployed, but we still urge Players to check any remaining active Quests before RT7 drops, as when it drops, Quests will be open for completion inside #E2V1. As always, this will be a major release with a lot of large, complicated new systems being deployed, so there is always a chance things can go wrong - therefore if something does go wrong please give the team some breathing room & time to get things right! Once this release is fairly stable we will be pushing forward on the next one. #Earth2 Reality Thread 5 is coming online🌍✌️ Another big Earth 2 release spread across E2V1, multiplayer, API & BE systems being deployed without any downtime, so please give the team space if any issues arise! earth2.io/news/reality-t… The implementation that took up the most time for this release by far was the foundation for the Global Building System, which will pave way to all building placement systems inside E2V1. So that took up a little more time than expected but we're very excited for it to go live now so we can monitor & improve on it. The teleportation system was also a feature I knew that would be complicated & time consuming to implement, which is why I initially flagged it for a later release, however, I wanted to get it out now as it paves the way for upcoming features & also makes community meet ups a lot easier to participate in. It is incredible to look back & realise we have kept our multiplayer & server integration systems live for the E2V1 pre-alpha for 116 days straight now. Over 99% uptime with multiple hot releases & next to zero downtime .. for a Pre-Alpha!! Really proud of this! Authoritative server based in Singapore, me in Australia with 19ms ping & our QA ( test #3236 on screen) with 300ms ping in Europe. Just sharing this as a quick example of the results we have experienced in QA regarding the interpolation smoothness we mentioned in our latest article. earth2.io/news/reality-t… To experience this kind of smooth responsiveness when I am connecting in Australia, to a server in Singapore playing with someone in Europe, is pretty cool. These are the type of results we've experienced in QA & hopefully most testers have a similar experience, but that is the whole reason of the Pre-Alpha state, to test different PC & network environments, and then identify any issues, fix & improve. We are going to test different server locations, starting with Singapore, and it would be useful to see how say a group of testers from Europe experience multiplayer on the Singapore server, a group between America and Europe, a group based only in Asian / Oceania. Remember, this specific multiplayer system we are testing now is for the open world of #E2V1 & will mainly be for interactive experiences that will not always require fast responsiveness meaning people from different locations around the world can interact without too much risk of losing out on something if they have a slightly higher ping. For experiences that involve PvP & even some Co-op PvE type experiences, we will run dedicated services for the specific group of Players participating, with options to select regional location, as those experiences will obviously require lower ping, more responsiveness and so forth. This has been covered briefly in the past but just reminding people again who may have missed that or forgotten. Final reminder, if someone has a really bad internet connection & high ping they will glitch - we can't control how good someone's internet connection is. For those testing together who decide to do a live stream or even record then post later after editing, please try to share details about your ping, FPS (displayed constantly in the lower right corner) in stream or recording and also back to us via the usual tester reporting avenues - we appreciate it🙏 🌍✌️ Not that I should really need to say anything as most people would know, but remember X only supports up to 1080 format, I think they actually force 720p, so the quality of the footage I have shared has been reduced to 720p by X. #Earth2 #metaverse #multiplayer #openworld #E2V1 $ESS #prealpha

Don't miss the final #LimitedEdition character skin drop leading up to the #Earth2 early access #Chapter1 release! A community design submitted skin (congratulations @MegaFrontman!) which our talented team modeled to life in 3D, ready for use in the #Metaverse 🌎✌️ These #LimitedEdition character skin drops are all we've released to date, so people have gotten used to them, but just a reminder that in the future any new #LimitedEdition character drops will be a lot fewer & farther between once #E2V1 is live, reserved mainly for very special events or collaborations. We want all #LimitedEdition drops to be become more rare & sort after as the platform grows. As mentioned in the past, we will move to a more traditional style system releasing character skins with unlimited editions that are only available for limited times throughout each year. There are a few other important points we'd like to share before the first variation drops: 1⃣ For this drop $ESS skin options will be based on a fixed $0.06 $ESS value. 2⃣ As mentioned in the past, any #LimitedEdition skin drops that don't sell out could be released again in the future until they sell out, but only after the #P2P skin trading store is live. 3⃣ #LimitedEdition skins that have not sold out & are released again will be at least double their original release sale price, sometimes more depending on which skin it is. So it's ok if skins don't sell out, they're just something available for early supporters. 4⃣ The last remaining Luna skin, not yet released, will be released at a future date, which could be any time. 5⃣ We know we still need to release the Cybercore-X weapons. 6⃣ There might be a one or two surprise drops throughout this final #LimitedEdition release 7⃣ How freaking cool is this Cheok Jun-Gyeong #skin! The Korean community requested it and #Earth2 delivered! Over 67M $ESS actively staked on #Earth2! 🌏✌Above all its a great sign of the wider community demonstrating long term belief in the platform! Check the article for key details & how to stake: 📰earth2.io/news/mentar-st… To put this into perspective, it would currently take a single #T1 tile over 50M years to mine 67M $ESS, a #T2 tile over 150M years. Currently a single base #T1 tile takes around 277 days to mine a single $ESS, a single base #T2 around 833 days - and this is with daily logins to claim and transform! Keep in mind these figures are only relevant before the first halving event which will more or less double all duration above making it longer to mine each single $ESS. We had a big backlog to get through from easier days in the past, but at some point I believe this reality will catch up.. and on top of that we're lingering on the dawn of #E2V1. It's inspiring to see so much #land & $ESS locked up, even for the short term rewards & incoming #Earth2Hordes minigame. Seeing the long-term belief & support #Players have for not only for the platform, but also increasing the #Utility of their land is really driving. But I believe in the not too distant future some #Players will have to start making more calculated choices on how they want to use their #land, $ESS & other byproducts as we continue to introduce features & mechanisms that expand the #utility for $ESS, #Land & more across the platform. #Earth2 #Metaverse #E2V1 $ESS #staking #rewards #PlayerOwned #Land #mining #future

This does not change release plans for #Chapter1 but some of our community might like to see the progress on the combat system as some are interested in the #staking system, combat game play & #P2E. When we have #Chapter1 live, which will include the entire life system, exploring, crafting, surviving plus the early teleportation system (specific details of that system to be released, and then #Earth2Hordes Q3.. the foundations really start to take shape. I am not sure people realise who much just these 3 systems will bring into #E2V1, and they are literally only the beginning! We set the video to premiere just in case some in the community wanted to watch it together, otherwise we would have just instantly released. Hope you all enjoy the footage & progress on the combat system. I love the custom animations we made for the #SMG, just feels cool when slow or fast running with it! For those who have seen the #E2V1 footage being shared by early pre-alpha testers on YouTube etc - just imagine having your characters, exploring the massive open world of #E2V1 then coming across #Hordes to battle .. along with all of the other mechanics that will be implemented at the time.
