Rostock have still to be persuaded to let Ryan Naderi join Rangers this month - Rangers pushing hard and player is currently in the UK for a medical but unless Rostock relent, it may have to wait until the summer

Connor Barron is garnering praise from Rangers fans for his recent midfield displays.
The 23-year-old was a standout performer in the Gers’ 1-0 win over Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership, completing 85% of his passes and recording the most tackles of any player on the pitch (8).
Barron has started the last six league matches for Rangers, most often lining up as one of two deep-lying midfielders in Danny Rohl’s preferred 4-2-3-1 formation.
A late call-up for Scotland’s final two World Cup qualifiers last month, Barron has set his sights on ensuring he is on the plane to the United States next summer.
“The plan, first and foremost, is to fix myself in the [Rangers] team, play well and hopefully that comes,” Barron said following Scotland’s famous victory over Denmark at Hampden.

We can today confirm plans to mark the anniversary of the 1971 Ibrox Disaster and other tragedies at the stadium on January 2, 2026
With no match scheduled for that day, the club will host a short service of remembrance at the Ibrox Disasters Memorial Statue at 11 am.
Later in the day, a supporter-led service will then take place at the north-east corner of the stadium footprint at 16:45.
There will also be a minute of silence before the upcoming match against St Mirren.
